School Starts Tuesday, August 28th! Our school year begins on Tuesday, August 28th. The school opens at 8:00 am, classrooms open at 8:10am, and classes begin at 8:30 am. Breakfast is served from 8:00 am - 8:25 am.

Teachers at Work! Our staff has returned from summer break and are preparing for the new school year. Today our dedicated teaching staff is in all day professional development workshops. Everyone is looking forward to our new school year. See you on Tuesday, August 28th!

Walking & Bike Safety Assessment Workshop The walking and bicycling assessment will take place in Valley West on August 29th. All are welcome and encouraged to participate as your expertise and input would be helpful and appreciated. It is also a good opportunity if you have never attended a walk audit and would like to learn more about the process.

First ASD Board Meeting of the School Year The Arcata School District Board of Trustees will have their first public meeting of the 2018-2019 school year at Arcata Elementary School on Monday, August 20th. The meeting begins at 6:30 pm and will be held in our Multipurpose Room.
Register for the 2018-2019 School Year It's almost time for the first day of school! Our school office will reopen On August 15th. The office will be open for regular hours: Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. You can pick up a registration form at our office or download them from our website. School begins on Tuesday, August 28th.
