Athletics

Arcata Elementary has a girls' and boys' basketball team.  The teams play other local school teams.  The girl's basketball season begins in November, and the boy's season begins in January.

 

• Practices will be held in the evenings on off-game days. Between practices and games this will be 4 days a week.
• Rudy Garcia will be our coach this year.
• Once the student is on the team there are five mandatory documents that are due before the first game.

4. Preparticipation Physical Evaluation (Physical Examination Form)
5. AES Basketball Uniform Agreement

• Students need to arrange transportation to practices and games. The coach cannot transport students.
• Uniforms will be distributed prior to the first game.
• Participation on the time requires being current on assignments and homework, positive and appropriate behavior at school and during games, and participating in practices.
