Pandemic EBT benefits help families buy food - DEADLINE: JUNE 30!

Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) benefits will help families in California buy food when school is closed! Have your finances changed due to COVID-19? Were your children receiving free or reduced-price meals at school? Is your family getting CalFresh, Medi-Cal, or Foster Care benefits? You can receive up to $365 for each child who is eligible for P-EBT benefits!

Families with children who already receive CalFresh, Medi-Cal, or Foster Care benefits DO NOT need to apply online. They should get their P-EBT card in the mail during the month of May. Families with children who applied for CalFresh, Medi-Cal, or Foster Care benefits AFTER school closed in mid-March will get their P-EBT card in the mail before June 30. If you do not receive your card in the mail, call (877) 328-9677.

Families with children who are eligible for free or reduced-price meals and who DO NOT get CalFresh, Medi-Cal, or Foster Care benefits must apply online starting May 22. If your family's finances changed due to COVID-19, your family may now be eligible for P-EBT benefits (as well as CalFresh or Medi-Cal). The deadline to apply online is June 30, 2020.

You have to PIN your P-EBT card through their automatic phone system to activate it. If you need help, call (877) 328-9677. Customer Service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
